Victor Smoly presents his book “School Terrorism” on bullying at the Panama International Book Fair

Victor Alejandro Smoly, author of “School Terrorism” and executive director of the Global Organization for the Prevention of Bullying, participates in the International Book Fair in the Republic of Panama. During the event, Smoly expressed his pride in representing his home province, Misiones. “A warm greeting to the province of Misiones, all the people of Misiones and Posadas. I am very proud to be the only missionary presenting a literary work,” said Smoly.

In his book, Smoly addresses bullying from a unique perspective. “School Terrorism” explores how bullying can have devastating effects on victims, not only emotionally but also in their social and psychological development. Smoly explains that, although the term may sound strong, it is necessary to understand the seriousness of the problem. “Bullying is not just another problem to be solved; it is a new type of terrorism that affects young people and adults alike,” the author emphasizes.

In addition to his work as an author, Smoly is dedicated to the protection and safety of children and schools around the world. As a global ambassador against bullying, he organizes international conferences, courses, and seminars on the prevention of bullying, suicide, and child abuse. “My mission is to educate and prevent, providing communities with tools to deal with bullying effectively,” he explained.
