World observatory of bullying
The Global Observatory on School Bullying is a specialized space created by the Global Organization for the Prevention of Bullying (OGPAB) to monitor, record, and analyze cases of school bullying around the world. Its purpose is to provide reliable and up-to-date information that serves as a basis for educational policies, effective prevention, and social awareness.

Mission
To be the international reference for data, research, and best practices on bullying and school violence, promoting a safe environment for children and adolescents in all countries.
Vision
A world in which every student can grow up free from bullying, protected by aware schools, informed families, and committed communities.
Main functions
- Global monitoring: Compilation of statistics and trends on bullying in different countries.
- Research and analysis: Studies on the causes, consequences, and risk factors of bullying.
- Early warnings: Identification of worrying patterns so that authorities and schools can take timely action.
- Dissemination of best practices: Publication of effective prevention guides, protocols, and strategies.
- International collaboration: Joint work with governments, NGOs, educational institutions, and experts in psychology and education.
- Promotion of social awareness: Educational campaigns and informational materials for students, teachers, and families.
Expected impact
- Strengthen bullying prevention and response at the local, national, and international levels.
- Develop evidence-based policies and programs that reduce school violence.
- Support students and families by providing accurate information and protection tools.
Goal: National Bullying Observatories

EAt OGPAB, we believe that every country should have its own Bullying Observatory, as an extension of the Global Observatory. The reason is simple: bullying manifests itself differently and occurs in different contexts in each region, and to prevent it effectively, we need local, accurate, real-time information.
Main purpose
A national observatory makes it possible to detect trends, risks, and critical situations in schools and communities, generating early warnings that protect children and adolescents before bullying turns into tragedy.
International collaboration
By connecting all national observatories with the OGPAB Global Observatory, we create a global network of information, strategies, and best practices. This allows us to:
- Identify effective tools and adapt them to each context.
- Share actions that have been proven to save lives and protect children.
- Develop prevention and response protocols based on real evidence from each country.
Expected impact
The ultimate goal is clear: for every nation to have a robust system of monitoring, prevention, and action that works together with families, schools, and governments to reduce bullying, protect lives, and foster safe environments for all students.
Together, observatories in each country will form a global protection network that will save many lives.
